We had a wonderful day cycling around Hanoi with the two guides of Jackfruit Adventure. The tour was truly off the beaten track and as we "followed the flow" of Hanoi traffic, we almost felt like locals ourselves. While Hanoi traffic can be overwhelming, we felt safe at all times. Exploring a city by bicycle gives you a completely different and more intense experience. Although we are experienced cyclists, being supported by our guide Aiden made it special, because he shared so many details, answered all our questions and made us feel truly welcome. We would highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to get to know more of the city than the famous sights and who enjoys being close to real life.

Ngoc, was such a kind, generous and fun host, this ended up being one of my favourite tours of our entire trip it was such a real look at the day to day lives of people in her village who have been working at their crafts for decades.

Ngoc is an excellent translator so we got to speak with the locals about what they do (and answer the questions they had for us).

Definitely one to choose if you want authenticity not a staged demonstration

Great fun, especially if you have a spare day in Hanoi. The organiser is easy to contact, Yu Pi is very helpful. My pilot on the day was Thang, who was very easygoing and the flight was very fun

Pretty views, hidden alleyways and lots of stops for photos and local snacks like ice cream, shrimp cakes, spring rolls and Hanoi beer, and even made Vietnamese egg coffee - all of it delish! Lyon was knowledgeable, fun and kind. Definitely recommend!

Lyon helped us navigate riding through the streets and round the lake with other cyclists, Vespa riders and cars. Pretty views, hidden alleyways and lots of stops for photos and local snacks like ice cream, shrimp cakes, spring rolls and Hanoi beer, and even made Vietnamese egg coffee - all of it delish! Lyon was knowledgeable, fun and kind. Definitely recommend!

The route does involve weaving thru the hectic traffic of the city, but once you brave through the first stage, you realise that this is how millions of people move around the city daily and that you've become part of it!

The experience was lovely, the scenery and weather were great during my visit. The pricing for the experience was also competitive as compared to other sites.

One thing to take note of is that some pilots are taking on bookings by themselves, so if you have a few people within the same booking timing. Some of you may travel up to the take-off area to wait as the pilot brings people one at a time on their flights. The take-off area is somewhat like an abandoned house. In my case, I had to wait for more than an hour at the take-off area initially with my wife and subsequently alone. I honestly enjoyed the time alone in the "wild" but I reckon that it might not be for all so do take note. 

Overall I love the experience, it was also my wife's first experience doing paragliding and she enjoyed it really much too.
