Really great tour. All the highlights included. Our guide and driver were also very accommodating given the fact that we were travelling with our young children (6 months, 3yo and 5yo)

I loved from the first touch that I got with the team their flexibility and openess, no matter how many questions I got haha. It was a bit hard for us since we were on a tight schedule, but they make it possible! We did rainbow village and the waterfall in the first day, Ijen mountain second day and Bromo mountain the last to be as close as possible to the airport(Surabaya). For those interested to come in this trip, there are also some sleeperbuses connecting Bali with Surabaya or Malang. Java is a muslim country so make sure to dress appropiate. Our driver, Rizky, was a very nice person, although he didnt know too much English, he took us to some amazing places to eat (ask for the Lava Hill Resort restaurant&cafe when you are at your accomodation to Bromo). You can rent your mountain jackets at Ijen and Bromo for the price of 30k IDR(1,50€) so dont carry it with you(if you can). They have scarfs and hats too if needed. For the waterfall prepare to get real wet so get a waterproof small bag to carry some napkins to wipe off the screens of the cameras. The guide received in there was very involved in making the photos and videos and he even did a nice memory video with us. Thank you! There are also some bathrooms where you can change your clothes after. You can rent water shoes too (20K IDR). Prepare small cash with you as you can eat and drink something after you re done with the waterfall. As for the accomodations they were very comfortable, except that the hotel where we stayed for our Ijen trip didnt had hot water which after you re doing a cold trip to the mountain was very much needed. The second accomodation had everything you needed, but heads up the walls are super thin so bring some earplugs to fall asleep easily and get ready for the early wake up. The breakfast was indonesian at the hotel. The second breakfast was omlette and fruits. Anyway, you can stop anytime and get to try more authentic snacks so for us was no problem. The nature that we saw in this trip is trully breathtaking and its worth all the sleeping time sacrificed! P.S.: if you have only hand luggage be aware that you will not be allowed to travel with the Ijen sulfur souvenirs 😅

Huge thanks to Pak Budi for driving us throughout the tour! The Ijen hike right after Tumpak Sewu was tougher than expected, but reaching the top felt like such an achievement—even though two of us couldn’t catch the blue fire due to the crowd. The sunrise at Bromo was absolutely breathtaking and beyond words to describe, and though the climb up the stairs was tiring, the view made it all worth it. Overall, it was worth every penny spent on this tour, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!
