This experience is amazing, I would say the best and most ethical in Chiang Mai. Zero contact with the elephants, no touching, no bathing, no feeding. Just admire them from the distance.
 Thong, our guide, was also very nice and helpful to us, he answered a lot of questions and taught us how elephants live here and how they were rescued. 
 Overall, a 10/10!

Wonderful experience, you walk across a small path seeking for the elephants that the sanctuary is taking care of. No touching at all and that’s the beauty of it. Just looking elephants being elephants. Great people and good food. I can only recommend.

I just loved it. It was an incredible experience and exactly what I was looking for. NO touching, NO bathing, NO feeding, just observing. I will never forget this day :)

Our guide Bee was lovely and informative. We loved learning about the elephants, and their day to day lives and history. The kids loved chopping sugar cane with a machete for the elephants too.

Such a wonderful experience! We got tk see all the elephants with our lovely guide. After that we prepared food for the elephants. Never touched the elephants and they walk arround freely. Very ethical.

This was the highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai! Our guide Neung was great and so informative. The whole visit was well organised and great for families with children. Thanks for a wonderful experience with elephants. 

Tip - if you have very small children you will have to carry them, because the small hike has some steep slopes.

When Emily first saw how elephants were treated in Thailand, she vowed that she would help them. Together with her partner Burm, she's pioneering a new form of wildlife tourism in Thailand.
