Perfect Last Minute Valentines Gift Ideas 2023

Looking for a thoughtful gift for your Valentines this year? One of our favourite things to gift is a fun experience - it'll bring you closer together, and you'll get to chat & laugh about it for ages afterward. We know that no date experience is complete without a meal so we've suggested our fave meal pairings with the experiences below!

All gift experiences have 1-year expiry, so you can gift it on Valentines, and redeem it together for a future date night 😍 All gifts support local businesses, and are good for the planet 🌲

1

Local Gin Tasting in the Jungle

If you're on a first date, this is a super fun, tipsy gin tasting experience. It takes place in a cute distillery bar in Dempsey tucked in the jungle, and you'll get to try lots of yummy locally-brewed gin! After your gin tasting, cap it off with a glam dinner at Claudine for a perfect date night.

2

Perfume Making with a Scent Engineer

If your partner loves scent, this is a really fun afternoon out! During this perfumery workshop, scent engineers will guide you throughout the process of selecting, formulating and eventual blending of your customised fragrance. After the workshop, head for to the cosy Vietnamese street food joint at Co Hai Banh Mi & Phở.

3

Pottery in a Lovely Studio

Whether you're a new or established couple, pottery is a great combination of a fun + chilled activity to do together. We love the patient instructors here, and the lovely light-filled shophouse studio. Conveniently, the studio is situated in one of our fave parts of town for food - Keong Siak. After creating your pieces, head to Papi's tacos for a fun Mexican meal to finish the evening!

4

Cool Street Theatre for Arty Couples

For the artsy couple, go on an an immersive walking tour through the streets of Little India. Walking tours aren't usually our thing, but this one is a really special one that blends street theatre and street art. We love it because it's such an unexpected and creative way to tell the story of Singapore's swinging 1960s. End the night with some seriously refined Indian food at Meatsmith Little India!

5

Candle Making

If your partner is a candle lover, this is a dream date. Here you'll get to work with over-30 types of essential oils to create an entirely bespoke scented candle. You can replicate the iconic Ion scent, create a scent that smells of fresh bedsheets or even create your own chilli crab scented candle 🙈 The workshop is located in trendy Haji lane, so head for a drink afterward at the super cute rooftop bar at Maison Ikkoku!

6

Bee Farm & Honey Tasting!

For the urban couples who love trying unusual new experiences - here's one for you. There's an urban bee farm hidden away on a very cool rooftop that feels like the speakeasies of London or NYC. Here you'll learn all about stingless bees, and get to taste honey! After the experience, cap off your date with sangrias and delicious tapas at the super cute & cosy Next Door Spanish Cafe.

7

Cocktails & Tacos

This isn't any usual cocktail making experience - this is a super unique market-to-table cocktail making experience! First where you'll go to a nearby market to pick out your own ingredients, then you'll get to learn bartending tricks and get to use your hand-picked ingredients in your cocktail! Our fave cocktail was the pomegranate, passionfruit + mezcal 🤩 Later you'll also get to enjoy your cocktail with complimentary tacos!

8

Paint & Play a Ukulele

We have friends who plan a fun activity for monthly date nights. Even if you've done something different every month together, chances are you haven't tried this! Learn to play a song on the Ukulele, then paint it and bring it home afterward. We can't think of a cuter date night!

9

Graffiti like a Rebel

Some customers have done this on multiple date nights, and we totally get it! Even the most artistically challenged can go wild with a spray can, and create something very cool and unique. To amp up the rebel factor, this takes place in a warehouse that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere - so it's a fun surprise to take your date on!

10

Pizza Making in a Secret Pizza Club

This is a perfect gift experience for a foodie date! It's at a super cute hidden rooftop farm location, and the wood-fire pizza oven is very cool. Here, you'll learn how to raise a fire with sustainably sourced firewood, pick your own plant garnishing from the adjacent farm and make & eat your own yummy pizzas!. Your furkid is very welcome here too :)

11

Coffee & Brunch!

This is a really cute date experience idea - especially if you love cafe hopping together on a weekend! This is probably Singapore's first and only coffee roasting experience, where you'll experience coffee farm-to-table. See the coffee plant growing on the farm; select and roast raw coffee beans over a fire; grind them up by hand; and experiment with different brewing techniques. You'll also get to enjoy a brunch of bagels and churros!
