This was a FANTASTIC tour!! If you are looking to get out of the busy, tourist-heavy spots of Bali, please come here! This is the perfect way to connect with nature, see gorgeous stars, eat delicious local food, and experience beautiful, quiet Bali. I didn’t know Bali was this gorgeous! You will canoe, hike in the forest, try so many delicious Balinese fruits, see some beautiful hidden waterfalls! It has everything. Our guide, Yoga, was so kind and caring, wanting us to have the best time, and had so much knowledge about local plants, fruit, and nature! We ate plenty of food and fruit, and he always had water for us. We even made s'mores by the campfire at night! Thank you so much for this experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been to Bali many times and yet I was being brought to a different, slower, more real side of Bali. The waterfalls are out of this world and truly special. A part of me hopes they will never get busy and would like to keep them "hidden". 

I was glad that it was Nalom taking us out and introducing us to the special connections he has established over the years through his big heart to be one with the places and people he brought us to. Me and my 2 teen boys really appreciated the trip despite my younger one being very ill (and Nalom adjusted the itinerary to cater for this, even carrying him up the path after the wasterfall).

I have been to Bali many times and yet I was being brought to a different, slower, more real side of Bali. The waterfalls are out of this world and truly special. A part of me hopes they will never get busy and would like to keep them "hidden".

This was a great experience and especially because of the team who assisted us. Gede was amazing made fire for us even in the rain he just found a way and a place to make it. Even got some marshmallow for my kid. Was patient and looked all the way for our needs. Komang was a great help as well and brought us amazing local meals which we truly enjoyed. Had the best 2 days with them.

If I could review 10/5 stars I would !!!!!

This was one of the most meaningful travel experiences I’ve come across. Nalom and yoga are incredibly passionate about community and nature, and they shared so much about life in Munduk and Indonesia. 

We ate fresh, local food grown in Munduk, trekked beautiful forests while understanding the environment along the way (how a white pepper plant tastes before its being processed, ginger flowers that can be used as shampoo, smelled fresh Pandan leaves, saw diff types of coffee plants), swam in the cleanest lushest waterfalls, ate SO WELL and were so hospitably taken care of at the campsites and all through out. Every part of this was incredible. Huge thank you to nalom, yoga and the getaway team! 

Huge shout out to nalom also: he is really the coolest!!! Everything he’s done here is so intentional. Down to packaging: all our food was hand packed in banana leaves and packaging was all biodegradable if it was disposable packaging. he’s also involved so much in meaningful work in the area, for example: organising for kids in schools in Munduk to visit forests to clean it up and build a respect toward nature. These trips also contribute to local families and businesses directly. Huge respect and feel more than happy to support getaway Bali. If ur considering this trip, don’t hesitate JUST GO ALR!!

Nalom was a very sweet and kind guide. I booked the camping trip and was initially supposed to be with two others. In the end, I was alone, and Nalom made it a fantastic time. He knows a lot about the area and goes above and beyond to help the locals. He wants to make sure everyone has a good time and a good life. I would definitely recommend booking a trip with him. It's also great that it's completely untouristed. You see quite a few undiscovered areas in Bali.

A truly magical experience!!! Yoga was an amazing guide and made the trip so special. He really knew a lot about the wildlife and plants and we even got a private fireside concert. We made so many memories in just a short period of time and got to expirience the real Bali, nature and culture.
