This was one of the most authentic organized activities of our trip.
Our guide Gede was very knowledgeable not only about all things coffee but also about myriad of other cultivated and wild plants growing in the lush village of Kiadan Pelaga. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the coffee plantation and farms growing all kinds of fruits, vegetables and herbs, despite the rain. And the lunch prepared by our driver, (also named Gede) mother was one of the best meals we had in Bali. It was a simple home cooked meal but was full of flavor.

I really enjoyed this excursion to get out of the crowds and see nature. The guided hike was amazing and I learned about many plants—sadly didn’t see much wildlife. The four waterfalls we saw were pretty unreal. The lunch at a local home was tasty and nice to see an Indonesian family home. Thanks for the great day.

Ben was awesome! We had a great time. The biking was pretty easy but there were a few sections biking on rocks and such. Wouldn't recommend to people who aren't comfortable on bikes. It wasn't very strenuous though. Great fun.

What an amazing experience. Our family of four enjoyed this so much. Wayan and his family were so welcoming. Everything about this experience surpassed our expectations. The passion of Wayan and his family, the farm, incredible food and of course the firefly’s. This topped our trip to Bali, we loved every minute. If you are after an authentic experience you must do this. Also want to mention our driver Gede who was a wealth of knowledge.

Got a driver who knows the place (we got ours from Seek Sophie as part of our day tour). The driver knew who to ask for assistance when we arrived.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Mr. Pepe. Petting and massaging his doggo Mr. K was a bonus to our outdoor chat. Loved that Mr Pepe is a wise soul who exchanged views on my native country when he visited it. We of course left with a better understanding of the chocolate making world and about fair trade. My older child said he enjoyed Mr. Pepe's views of the world.
There is a separate visit for bookings if one wants to visit their cacao plantation.
Chocolate making was really fun with Ms. Made and her colleague helped to take photos and videos for us. Expect lots of fun selecting the beans, pounding and sieving it etc.
At the end of the tour, we brought back our hand made chocolates and a bar of chocolates from their factory.

All the reviews about the Purification Ceremony with Putu were great so we came in with high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded! Putu and her team were awesome. They were thoughtful, caring and comforting so my wife and I could have a truly immersive experience. We’ve traveled the world and had many memorable experiences, this will certainly make it to the top. Thank you Putu and team.
