Our experience was absolutely amazing! Putu and her family took care of us from start to finish. We left feeling that we had learned much about Balinese culture and had made a genuine connection with the women who led us through the purification ceremony. It was a truly special time to have taken part in.

Everyone should do this if they visit Bali! Putu and the other women were incredible and I will remember this transformative experience forever! The cleansing really was therapeutic and moving, and I loved learning to make the canang sari and enjoying some local fruits and snacks with the women. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I feel like I learned so much not only about the local culture and religious practices, but also about myself. Thank you Putu for this unforgettable day!

It was an incredible experience and a must visit when you’re in Bali. Wayan and his family were amazing hosts, and their dedication and passion for firefly conservation and love for nature shone through deeply. We left feeling very inspired and touched, both by their work and the ways they practice communal care and spirit. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re in Bali and look forward to seeing even more fireflies :)

Amazing bike tour, our guide Gede was absolutely brilliant and so friendly!! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a more local and rural side of Ubud!

The most amazing experience, the ladies were so welcoming, kind and had beautiful energy. A highlight was learning how to create the offering and enjoying some Balinese food by the koi pond amongst warm chats and laughs . The purification ceremony was intimate being the only one there completely avoiding the crowds. A treasured moment. 10/10 would recommend!

Really great experience. The tour was cool and informative, the cooking class/dinner was great, and the firefly observation was magical. I’m hoping to return in the future with family and students.
