Wowww! That was one of the coolest most natural hikes we’ve ever done!! Such a full fun adventure, and our guides Yosi and Wii were so awesome- so sweet, and such great photographers! 😆😆 Highly recommend the natural hot springs after! When we reached the peak for sunrise, a local woman who lives on the mountain brought sandwiches and tea for us, and our friend even got to drive the boat back across the lake! What a beautiful, incredible experience. We all really loved this day 🙏🏼

Greenbike’s bike tour in Ubud is a 5+ hr tour which included breakfast, lunch and a sampling of local treats. Unexpectedly, it also included transfers from our hotel which was extraordinary value (and very convenient).
The tour explores Balinese culture and community through a scenic bike ride on quiet country roads and off the beaten track. We visited a traditional Balinese home, sampled Indonesia’s famed luwak coffee, stopped by Bali’s second largest temple and finished the tour at the rice fields.
It was a meandering 22 km round trip, best of all mostly downhill. Our guides ensured our road safety and remained vigilant throughout. Riding the backroads roads and narrow trails, known only to locals was a highlight. As an occasional recreational rider only, I especially enjoyed the trickier trail parts that were unpaved, rocky, puddle-ridden.
Tips: As we travelled to/from Ubud from Nusa, we experienced Bali’s snarled traffic. It made for a long day but it was worthwhile.
While the torrential rain in Nusa didn’t instill confidence initially, it eventually subsided. We appreciated the overcast, cooler day. Trust the experts at Greenbike to gauge the contingency plan.
A special thanks to our guides Amin and Ketut for sharing their insights, and to Rina at Seek Sophie who responded quickly and efficiently to my questions beforehand.

Lovely to get out of the touristy parts of Bali. Loved the ride there and back again.
Informative tour of the coffee plantation, and professional tasting experience.
We bought a lot of coffee to take home and hand out as souvenirs from our trip.

This was such an amazing trip! Experiencing the jungle with a bike was so special! And we also visited a local home where we learned a lot about Balinese culture and traditions, which was also really wonderful. The food was also great! All in all an unforgettable experience!

Talk about a fun and unique tour!! It was such a great blend of mellow bicycling, yummy food, and learning more about Balinese culture and traditions. I even came out of the experience knowing more about firefly conservation- unexpected but a cool addition. Dui was a fantastic guide, Dude was a phenomenal photographer (some footage we will be laughing at for a long time), and Obi, our driver, was punctual and safe. We felt very well looked after from start to finish. 1000% would do again.

We loved walking through the plantation and learning about the harvesting process. It was also very cool to be able to see, smell, and taste the difference between Natural, Black Honey, and Full Washed arabica beans grown on-site. They have Luwak coffee available to drink for an extra fee but it is worth it! The entire Bali Beans team is very attentive and friendly. Will be stopping by anytime I’m in the area. :)
