I'm really happy I booked here. My Guide Nawa was very patient with me (and the many breaks I needed), pleasant company and a good photographer for me and their other group we met at the peak.
I loved that I could take my time on the way and at the top and didn't have to rush at any moment.
Everyone (the guides, my driver, locals and other travellers) were very sweet and I appreciate all the information up front and the check in after the tour from Justin/their team.

It was such a lovely experience on bicycle & stopping at various locations to experience the local culture. We got to see a local’s house & full explanation of how it’s built & functions of each building. stopped at a coffee luwak place with lush scenery & a taste of 6 diff types of teas & 6 diff coffees. even got to see the luwak! the morn tea at firefly conservation area was amazing! the fried banana was spot on! Got to see the 2nd largest temple in bali & also cycled through the lush rice terrances! really enjoyed this tour! defo would recommend! We also had 3 kids on us & the tour guides were lovely & amazing! one of them ended up cycling our 7yr old as her fingers couldn’t reach the brakes! the lunch at the end though was the best balinese food i’ve had the entire trip here!
highly recommended! was honestly the highlight of my trip to bali!

Amin and his crew were wonderful guides. It was wonderful getting to see the real Bali, away from overcrowded tourist areas.

It was a beautiful trip with so much insights into the Balinese life. We loved hearing Darma’s stories and it was really nice having his son in the tour too. I went on the ride with an injured finger and Darma and the other riders were all wonderful making sure that I was ok all the time and were super patient, waiting for me when I needed a rest. It was great learning about the firefly project l, walking through the rice terraces and discover all the plants around us. Darma made sure to show us everything from coffee plant, vanilla, cinnamon and citronella. And my two teenagers loved the ride. It was truly amazing. Highly recommend!

Our experience was really great - excellent communication, really friendly and informative team, beautiful nature, delicious homemade breakfast and there fact that it was a private tour. The weather wasn't in our favour so we couldn't really see a sunrise, but we loved it anyway and got to enjoy flying the drone, seeing local farming, sailing on the lake and chatting with locals.

A really unique and much more enjoyable way to see the sunrise. Had the whole mountain and the view to ourselves. And definitely the best view! Our guide, Wi, was brilliant - he made sure we were safe, going at our own pace and got some great photos for us. Definitely recommend!

My partner and I had an unforgettable experience doing this alternative trek to Mount Batur. Fortunately the skies were clear and we enjoyed stargazing as we crossed Lake Batur in the boat early in the morning. What followed was a somewhat challenging trek, (we don’t do much hiking), with powerful head torches, but only took around 40minutes to reach the top for an incredible view of the mountains, Lake Batur and the coast as the sun rose. It was so beautiful and absolutely worth the hike!
We could see Mount Batur lit up and the many tourists that journey there, so we felt lucky to only be around a few other people and locals who helped with breakfast. It was also dark, which meant we had a wonderful view of the stars and landscape around us. The top of Mount Batur also became obscured by clouds soon after sunrise, whereas it stayed clear where we were at a lower altitude, which might be another benefit of this tour.
Breakfast served on the top was lovely and everyone we met was very friendly. We felt very cared for by our guides Wi and Nawa - thank you both so much! Nawa helped us to the top, talking to us about the local area and taking my regular breaks. He was also a fantastic photographer and has become very good at long exposure photos!
I was nervous about slipping coming down, but Wi was brilliant helping every step of the way. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again, albeit with grippier shoes! Highly recommend this trip.
