My son and I had a great time with Amin. He structured the tour to fit our needs and the trip really is 95% downhill and along quiet roads. We were able to see and learn a lot about Balinese life and loved travelling through the beautiful Balinese countryside. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a more authentic Bali rather than the standard photo traps.

We loved spending our time with Dodi and meeting his family. Trekking was fascinating. I could have stayed in the forest all day. The canoe across lake Tamblingan was special. And even if you’re tired the walk to the waterfalls is still a must.

We had such a great time with GreenBike. The guides were informative and they even took some very cool photos and videos for us along the way. It was a fantastic way to spend the morning.... through small villages where the locals were friendly and we got to see rice harvesting and drying. Thanks Green bike for a great day!

We really enjoyed this experience. The team here is very dedicated to their mission of bringing back fireflies, as well as promoting sustainable farming techniques in the local area. The fireflies are beautiful and the meal is amazing. Highly recommended

My son and I had a wonderful time on this tour. It's such a great initiative. We were shown around the farm, learning lots about the plants and Balinese life. We also participated in the preparation (and eating!) of a huge Balinese traditional meal. But the highlight is the fireflies, learning about Wayan's work to rehabilitate their population, then watching them zooming around in the darkness of the forest and over the rice paddies. We haven't finished our holiday here yet, but I think maybe this will be the best thing we did in Bali.

This tour was great! I became sick the night before the tour started, and Justin and his team were extremely flexible and allowed me time to recover while still providing a great experience. Thank you so much!!

Nalom was an incredibly passionate, dedicated and knowledgeable host, with deep ties to environment and community.
We visited a local fruit market and sampled the seasonal fruit and were surprised with a bag of our favourites to take home. The jungle trek was great, even in the rainy season, its a rainforest after all! The canoe trip back was beautiful and a fun addition.
As we approached the waterfalls, it was clear that it was a special place and even though the water was chilly, swimming felt like we were the only ones there. It was very quiet being the wet season so there were very few other tourists around.
I would highly recommend any of The Getaway Camp Bali tours and am hoping to include a 3-5 day trek next time

An absolute highlight of our trip! We were lucky and had the walk to ourselves. Our driver Yosi and guide Wi were both extremely lovely and shared so many great stories and interesting knowledge. The view from the rim was incredible even on our cloudy morning and we loved getting to take the boat across the lake. Definitely worth the early rise (3am for us in Ubud so not too bad) and we got back with so much day left to spend.
