Awesome Women-led Businesses in SG

It was really a wonderful experience to do this Tinkgat painting workshop with Ms Amy and Mr Tan. Ms Amy had drawn and kept our designs ready on the tingkats. Mr Tan was very detailed and clear in his instructions on how to paint them. They were right there if we needed any help. We could clearly see their passion towards making sure everyone goes back happy with their painted Tingkats. We were very happy for sure. Highly recommend this activity.

The Art of the Tingkat: A Singaporean Tradition

It was really a wonderful experience to do this Tinkgat painting workshop with Ms Amy and Mr Tan.  Ms Amy had drawn and kept our designs ready on the tingkats. The experience was great! I came with my daughters to introduce them to knitting and the fun of crafting. They enjoyed the session and are now asking if they can learn how to crochet!
 The staff was very nice and very, very patient. I recommend the experience to anyone!

The studio was compact, cool with a great guide. The playlist of Mr PC made the hours there comfortable and fun . The experience of painting the Tingkat was special and i did take away a piece of singapore art !

Great host, good for kids, patient, customized. Central location. Will need to return on another day to collect the pieces, so location may matter!

Had a wonderful time at Pei Lin Studios today painting a Tingkat under the warm and encouraging guidance of PC! The session was thoughtfully paced, and PC made sure everyone felt supported no matter their skill level. It was such a unique and therapeutic experience—I loved how the environment inspired creativity while still being super chill. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore their artistic side or just enjoy a fun, meaningful way to spend a few hours. Will definitely be back for more!

The session was thoughtfully paced, and PC made sure everyone felt supported no matter their skill level. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore their artistic side or just enjoy a fun, meaningful way to spend a few hours. Will definitely be back for more!

We had the best time with PC. We chose the make your own design option and had so much fun being creative. Definitely recommend. 🙂

Emily was kind and warm, and made this complete beginner to pottery very at ease. I like the small class size, and Emily makes an effort to go around to each student to check on their progress. My friend who is a bit more experienced wanted a more complicated design and Emily balanced out the time between guiding newbies vs. experienced students really well. The space is also wonderful and feels very cozy. Thank you Emily!

She started Craft &amp; Culture as a craft brewery in 2016 focusing on Kombucha (fermented tea) and Kefir (fermented milk) and has since grown the brand to become one of Singapore’s key market leaders.
