We had our team lunch at Chef Al’s gorgeous home, and it was such a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, you could feel all the love and attention Chef Al has put into his place—it’s absolutely beautiful.
The food was amazing—really tasty, generous portions, and you could tell everything was made with care. Chef Al is also such a warm and welcoming host, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable.
All in all, a lovely afternoon with great food, great company, and an even greater host. Highly recommend it! 😊

We booked this experience for our end of year team lunch and it was a wonderful experience! Al's place is so beautiful and thoughtfully decorated that it adds a really nice touch to any celebration. We enjoyed the food, there was something for everyone on our foodie oriented team. Al is also a wonderful host who shared many stories about the recipes, pretty crockery and all the super interesting collection of unique items from around the region. Highly recommend for anyone considering hosting a team or friend gathering.

A fantastic experience! Al made our group feel immediately comfortable in his beautiful home in Joo Chiat. He kindly provided a vegetarian menu for our group, walking us through the history of the five dishes we prepared, taking time to explore ingredients together and peppering in personal stories to make the experience fun. As participants, you can do as much (hands-on) or as little (spectator) of the cooking you would like. The dishes were all delicious and (relatively) easy to recreate at home. A fun experience for our group of friends and I can envision it being just as great with family or co-workers. Five stars for Al and Med@59JCT!
